7:30-8:30: Beginner class

Ithaca instructor Cindy Overstreet will teach classes in Lindy Hop, with members of the Cornell Swing Dance Club assisting. A veteran instructor and dancer, Cindy has been a fixture of the local dance community for many years. Costs TBA, check http://rso.cornell.edu/cu_swing/index.php/classes for updates.

This is a progressive series, with each class building on skills taught in the previous. We encourage all participants to stay and review their new skills right after each class in the free practice/dance that lasts until 10pm. Experienced dancers are available for informal free coaching. Just 15 minutes of practice will help put the knowledge into your long term memory! No partner necessary.

Sponsored by the GPSAFC and open to the Cornell Community (and everyone else).

Beginner/Intermediate practica

New this semester: A special practice session to help more experienced dancers build their skills! Come practice, learn, and exchange ideas. All are welcome, especially students from previous semesters.

Experienced dancers and instructors from the club will facilitate and teach.

LOCATION: Big Red Barn (BRB)

ADMISSION: Open to Public, Alumni, Students, Faculty, and Staff.
